Amusement equipment brings children endless fun and a happy childhood. Since this year, the news has reported several incidents of children being injured by amusement equipment, which is very distressing and has to trigger our thinking. Of course, unqualified amusement equipment manufacturers have become the target of people's criticism. Putting these aside, we believe that it is not wrong for parents to be more careful when their children are in the playground. As a parent of a child, you should know the following basic common sense when entering an amusement equipment venue:
1. Take your children to a qualified and formal playground. Try to avoid free amusement equipment such as those on the street and at the entrance of a supermarket! It is unhygienic, unsafe, and even more troublesome if it occurs.
2. When children are playing on climbing frames, slides, seesaws, swings and other activity facilities, they cannot push others or fight.
3. Follow normal operating procedures, such as sliding down the slide with your feet facing down, not flipping over the outside railing onto the slide, and not standing on a swing.
4. If your child jumps off a piece of play equipment, make sure your child sees clearly that there are no other children or objects blocking the way. When your child jumps, land on both feet and bend both knees slightly.
5. Have your child move items such as bicycles and backpacks away from the equipment to prevent them from tripping over them while playing.
6. If the equipment in the playground is wet, tell your child not to play because the wet surface makes the equipment very slippery.
7. When your child is playing in the playground, do not wear clothes with strings or belt cords. Strings, backpack straps, and necklaces can accidentally get caught on equipment and cause danger.
